Israel October 2019 - Review
On the 28 October 2019 company owner Sharon Thompson escorted her own tour of over 20 people to Israel. The tour was a great success and a 2021 tour is now being organised to also be escorted by Sharon.
Valerie & Mark were on the trip and left us this review;
"My hubby and I are so privileged to have been to Israel for the past week. I can't describe in words as Christians how wonderful this trip was for us. To be in the same location and to see the cities where Jesus taught was surreal. From travelling through the desert that the Israelites were in for 40 years. Sailing on the Red Sea. Floating in the Dead Sea. Getting baptised where Jesus was baptised. Seeing the Garden Tomb and being where Jesus died on the cross. This is only a fraction of what we seen and did. We went with a group of 20 others. The banter was mighty!! And I have to say Thompson's Travel who organised the complete trip have been first class. Sharon Thompson the proprietor who joined us on the tour along with her daughter Leah, knows her stuff! This was Sharon's 18th time in Israel. She went out of her way to make sure each and everyone of us were ok all of the time. I even got the lend of Leah's straighteners when mine packed up on the trip! We felt very safe and at no time were we afraid. I believe we have met new friends that will be life long and to top it all off as God's timing is always perfect the book I chose for the trip was called Homesick by our very own Charlotte Curran. Little did I know this book all tied in perfectly to what we were experiencing on our trip. I normally don't go to a country twice but I have to say we plan to return because there is so much more we haven't seen yet in the North. Everyday more and more information is being discovered there. If you read the Bible or listen to sermons you'll love Israel. And if you don't I challenge you to go there and not believe the Bible! The culture of this country and how it differs from ours is enlightening. We loved it all! Can't recommended highly enough. Thank-you Sharon Thompson for the time and effort you spent making sure we had a great holiday."
