A Word From Israel Leader Liam Hennessey, Dublin

We have organised  6 tours to Holy land since 2008 and Thompson Travel International organised the tour for us in 2016 and now the tour w are undertaking in 2018.

I have been most impressed with the professionalism, approachability, flexibility, conscientiousness, diligence, integrity, honesty and helpfulness of the Thompson Travel International staff I have dealth with relating to these tours.

My experience dealing with Thompson Travel International  is that they pull out all the stops to put together the best tour package possible: eg.1)  for our last tour Caroline had found flights that would get us into Tel Aviv later in the evening and I was happy with that. Then Caroline came back to me a couple of days later and said that she had found some other flights that would get us into Tel Aviv earlier still on that date. For me that clearly illustrated that Caroline was working to get the best possible flight arrangements for our tour and was not just taking the easier option of "the flights are sorted out now and I don't need/ am not going to do any more work to try and find better flights".

eg 2) On our last tour 1 person had paid a booking deposit of €250. A few weeks later he informed me that he would not be able to travel on the tour due to Family Commitments. Both he and I assumed that he would loose all of the €250 booking deposit that he had paid. However after the tour was over I got an email from Thompson Travel International to say that they had checked all the finances relating to the tour and that there was a balance overpaid of €50. When we talked about it we found that the €50 extra was because the booking deposit was €200 and not €250 as I and my friend had thought. Thompson Travel International returned the €50 to me and I was able to return it to my friend who had to cancel out on going on the tour with us. For me that illustrated honesty and integrity about the way Thompson Travel International conduct their business. Neither my friend nor I knew nothing about the extra €50 and Thompson Travel International could easily have left the €50 in their business and said nothing about it to us but instead they chose to act with the utmost honesty and integrity in this situation. I was very very impressed and I still am impressed by their business integrity.

Thompson Travel International also offer great suggestions for items to include on the tour. They are very experienced in organising tours to The Holy Land and they have a long-standing relationship and friendship anf great working relationship with the company in Israel with whom they work to organise the land-package.
